Standing out in the front yard with a water hose ready... We are under a burn ban and under critcal fire danger but yet the county will not ban fireworks. Last 2 years we had a fire that was started with fireworks last year it got within a quarter mile of the house before the volunteer fire dept got it under control.

Working..we decided to work Wednesday and take Friday off for a three day weekend. My wife is 8 months pregnant so we were going out anyway. No one will bother me at work and I can get work done.

Probably gonna throw some burgers on the grill and hit the pool during the day and then go throw out some jugs on the lake with a buddy. Hopefully we pull out some big ol' flatheads the next mornin. Everybody stay safe and good luck with that fire coy!

Thats great. I was in scouts from when I was 12 earned my Eagle scout and stayed on with the troop until I moved out of state three years ago. 27 years...had a lot of fun..watched a lot of kids grow into young men and go onto the military and law enforcement.

Yea my son and foster son (both 23 and married) joined at 12 and earned Eagle too.

You are right about watching the guys grow into young men, very cool.

Workin during the mornin', but once I get home we will probably grill out and enjoy the sweltering 100+ degree temps here in Miss.

And, though I was never a Boy Scout, I was a long-time member of the Royal Ambassadors at church. Similar thing, round here.
