I thought about it briefly... VERY briefly.

My truck is paid off and is going strong. I'm going to enjoy not having a truck payment for a little longer.

Congrats on the "upgrade".

you won't miss the F-150 once you hook the trailer on

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it too. The new truck will be black with a black interior like my truck. The first thing it will get will be a 6 inch lift and some 37 inch toyos on 20 inch moto metal 962 wheels. I'm going to do chrome with this truck, also 37s will be the largest tire I get on it. to tell you the truth I kind of have been getting tired of getting in and out of my truck lately.

After all of that is done I'll wait about 20k miles before I put a tuner and do all the deletes on it. Ha I want to keep my warranty for a little while.

Thanks I'm sure I will enjoy it for several years to come.

I'll still stick around on this site though since this is the one I mostly visit as it is.

Diesel or gas? I'm assuming diesel since you were talking about deletes. Nice upgrade either way.

I love my truck, but think about a 250 on a daily basis! Congrats on the new truck, keep us supplied with pics, I'll have to live vicariously through you for the next 3 years!

Definitely diesel. Yeah I've never really been a fan of gas engines in f250s. My father has one with the new 6.2 in it and it's not terrible but I would still rather have the torque of a diesel. Plus I live about 15 minutes from one of the best powerstroke tuners out there. KEM Performance.

Haha I've been living that way for quite some time. I'll definitely start plenty of threads with pics and different mods to come.

I love the 250's but have absolutely no need for one. They will be one of those vehicles that I will always admire from afar, and enjoy looking at as I drive past, but will never own for myself. Enjoy yours......

Yup, ferget the little F-150s with that wimpy drivetrain. There is a reason people bolt Dana 60's with a SAS on the half tons. Love the fact the superduties still have a solid sixty and auto hubs with a manual override. Only two complaints are that they deep sixed the handshaker tranny for 2011 and the mo betta leaf springs in '05.

Yep, if you want a stick now, you gotta get a Dudge, diesel only.
