Congrats. I'm glad you bough an 80 knowing you don't know how to ride. If you get it down pack and love it then move up. Right now I'm on a 2011 YZ450F and I couldn't be happier

I got out and rode it this past saturday just in a field and loved it. I got the clutch down right away. It is not as tricky as i thought it would be. I am going to take it out to the trails on the 21st, i cant wait. Unfortunately i already want something bigger. Im going to ride this thing until it dies, or until i have enough money for a KX250. I plan on putting a new top end in it this winter.

Great to hear you enjoying it! It's better to have started on something smaller and realize you want something bigger than try to jump on a huge bike before you are comfortable. If you were in Ga, I would sell you my RM250 cheap as I never ride it anymore. It pretty much has a brand new engine in it top and bottom with only about two hours on it. I haven't rode it in about a year.

Damn, thats too bad your so far away. But it is a good thing since i dont have money for another bike.

The thing that most surprised me about my KX80 is that it is really fast.
