Moved!!!
Well, I have just moved from Mi to Ga due to a variety of circumstances.I hired a trailed and completely filled it & my truck bed & cab!!! To say my journey was eventful would be an understatement!!! I left Mi on Sunday night & went via Mo. At 4.30 I nearly ran out of gas because there were no gas stations to be found. I also experienced many hours of freezing fog causing ice to form on my truck. When I found a gas station to fill up I also found one of the tyres on the trailer had completely shredded!!! On the drive from Mo to Ga I was stopped by the po po because the chains on the trailer were dragging on the road causing sparks & wear on the chain!!' The funny thing was the trailer was attached to the truck by the U Haul agent & never unhooked until I dropped the trailer off!!! I was awake for over 31 hours the day I left Mo for Ga!!! Was I tired!!! Had to unload the whole trailer & drop it off the day I arrived. And I did it unaided!!!

Reminds me of my trip from Michigan to Southern California, subtract the trailer and switch the truck for a Sentra. Nothing like a flat tire in Albuquerque at two in the morning after sliding down the Rockies with the with all the truckers in a snow storm, then putting a four inch long gouge in two month old rims the next morning.
I've done my share of road trips, but I'm not looking forward to the one next month. Texas to Michigan. Three kids, three dogs, four adults and two vehicles.

Glad you had a safe trip! Now it's my turn to do something similar! Wednesday I will be hooking a u-haul trailer to my truck and towing my car and some of our belongings from Louisiana to Oregon. The ole trusty 5.4 has made that trip twice already unloaded, so I'm not worried about it failing me this time. Just worried about hitting bad weather with the trailer hooked up!
