Don't I wish... No alcohol allowed on-site and no drinking off-site.

The alcohol can decrease your blood volume and could increase the risk of DCS (decompression sickness). Plus there was a death out here a few years back and the guy that runs the show put the kibosh on booze.

Pretty cool deal. Always found your career interesting when you posted about it. Are yall in the forest? I'd be willing to bet yall are diving in "Blue Sink". The Navy also uses/used Blue Sink as a dive training site.

The sinkhole we're at is called "40 fathom grotto" and it's not in the forest. You can search for the grotto or Commercial Diving Academy - Deep Water Training Center.

It's a commercial dive training center, Navy usually trains their own guys. A bunch of the instructors here are ex-navy though.
