Radio Display Problem

2005 F150 Lariat,radio plays in accessory, start and run, display and clock only works in accessory position. As soon as the key is turned to start display and clock go out. Any ideas how to resolve this issue????

Is your dimmer switch turned all the way down?

Bang on turned out to be a dead spot on the dimmer switch scrolled it up and down a few times and it fixed it self
