im just waiting on the 5500$ im getting on my tax return.. sold my f250 and am truckless for a couple weeks..the rest of the cash is in the bank waitin on my tax return then ill be ready to buy a new truck

I am unsure this year most likely buy some parts for my quad and maybe a some things for the truck. Either that or add it to my savings ha

front end work since its all original with 135,000 miles, tranny fluid flush, new belt,new brakes and rotors and should be good for another 135000 miles.

Thanks man! Nope right now only have an extended cab. But I have thought of using that as an excuse to buy a supercrew! In time..lol..right now the wife has a Mazda Tribute with enough room...just super excited right now...and a little terrified lol

Indeed, the best thing to do is to adjust one's withholding so you pay in when you file your tax return...and the pay-in amount is just below the amount that triggers IRS penalties for under-withholding.

Of course, that means you have to be saving up for that payment during the year...but you're getting interest on that $$ vs. letting the Feds have the use of it for free. For small refund amounts it's maybe not worth the trouble, but for a refund big enough to buy a new truck with, you could have earned several hundred bucks of interest on that money.

To each his own.

I havent gotten a refund since I became self employed. If I get anything back I pay it on the next years tax. I just pay..

yeah i had an 04 fx4 supercab when my son was born and it was awesome for a while but man im excited about getting a supercrew.. extended cabs are great and will work for sure i mean hell when i was born my dad had a single cab f150 and made it work but when your kid gets older you realize how nice a supercrew would be lol its exciting and scary when your havin a kid and gets alot better when the babys born we were so nervous leaving the hospital but after getting the swing of things everything has been so amazing.. whens your babys due date/boy or girl?

anyone getting a refund is getting shafted by the government, whoever is giving you financial advice should be fired immediately.

Regardless, I will likely owe again this year, hopefully less than last year.
