So I went and got appraised. The guy at the shop was nice, and it looks like I was correct. Just the bumper, mounting parts, the EZ Liner coating, and license plate frame are all that is needed. Price came out to $900.23.

Other parties insurance called me and said that she told them that she hit me because she avoided the accident with the mini van. The guy tried to get me to confirm this and I told him I wouldn't because she had control of her vehicle after that and then lost control again. basically trying to get me to say it wasn't her fault. Yeah right buddy.

I did my recorded statement with my insurance and told them about how she was corrected and then lost control again probably due to road rage.

I also found out that she was ticketed by the police officer and that she is going to try to get the ticket over turned or something of that nature.

Her insurance told me, I forget the word, but that they were going to try and fight it and not claim liability and that it could take up to 2 months to get this resolved. No big deal on my part, my truck is going in to get fixed on Tuesday. Just sucks that I will be out $250 for the deductible until both insurances finish bickering.

This is why I avoid accidents at all costs. Dealing with this crap sucks!
