Internet Help

You know how hotels, airports, and other wi-fi zones most of the time have their own page that you have to navigate through to accept terms or enter a password and stuff before you can get on line?

Well, my laptop will not auto redirect to that site when you launch explorer. When I open explorer, I just get the error page. Sometimes, if I can get the actual url, I can type it in and it'll go, but most of the time that doesn't work either.

I can never get around this and end up unable to go online because of it. What do I need to check or change to get the stupid thing to cooperate?

Control panel, Internet Options.

Connections, LAN settings.

Check the box for "automatically detect settings".

If that doesn't work, try Firefox.
