I did, Like I said it is a must when combining drop components. I always suggest the spindle if combining components. Otherwise ball joint angles will be all out of wack and not easy to align. My alignment shop laughed and said it will not align when I told them I went lower. They were shocked to see I still had a ton of adjustment left

True. I typically recommend the 3/5 for the 04+

Yeah 3" in the front is as low as I would go without the spindle.

I don't recommend the spindle if you are just going 2-3"

I would pay it...this is as low as I can go and I have a some negative camber now.
