I must be in the minority but I like it. I see it as a huge improvement in looks over the older body styles. The escape never seemed to me to be a real option for a true suv, just a crossover in suv style disguise. Now it looks more like what it really is intended for, a crossover. Although I think it would be much better with a v6, I'd bet the ecoboost gets it around pretty well. After all, the F150's ecoboost is only a small v6 and that is a runner.
