Its not me in the photo I posted...just saw it...thought it needed to be posted. We in the Military have great benefits...we don't get paid millions....hell even hundreds of thousands. A guy over here in Iraq who turns on light generators makes triple the pay I do...with free benefits while over here.

If you do a search for a site "I am the 53%" you will see many pics like this. The 53% being those who pay taxes in our country so the 99% can benefit.

I'm not saying that they are the same things. Just that the supposed "99%" are not representing the true 99%.

Perhaps our millitary men and women would comprize their own 1% who have rightly earned, but don't recieve, the respect of the true 99%.

These "occupiers" could learn a thing or two about respect an honor if they paid a little more attention to the hard work and sacrifice our millitiary men and woman voluntarily perform on their behalf, instead of standing on their soap box to proclaim all that is wrong with the USA.

What I mean is, thanks.

Thanks, but not need to thank me. Just a job I'm doing. I just dislike how they go out do illegal protest and complain about how they can't afford anything. What about the hundreds of millions of others who are barley getting by...they are b****ing about it! All these morons want is a handout. They want to make it seem they are being mistreated by protesting aswell. I'm pretty sure they don't follow city ordinance when it comes to the protest. I'm all for Freedom of speech, but do it legally! Thank you again, I really do appreciate it!

Protesting isn't illegal. Sure their bitching, but oh well, that's what most American's and Private's/Specialist's in the military do (ie: I hate the military, I can't wait to ETS). Come to think about it Private's bitched so much, that our military is becoming so undisciplined and so many bitchy soldiers, that people are getting out because it's not the way it use to be (2001+). I'm told I can't smoke a soldier to correct their discipline, I need to counsel them and get proper documentation to get them kicked out. Well, I'm not for kicking soldiers out who need a discipline check, hell my soldiers wish I never volunteered for this deployment and wished I was still their team leader because they'd probably be a team leader by now or I'd be leading them in Afghanistan on their deployment. I've also been told by another joe that if I didn't yell at them at least once in a day, then they knew they were doing something wrong. Civilians who join the military can't be transformed into a soldier, they just need discipline and smoking them and taking away their time made that transformation.

There are veteran's that are in that Occupy Wallstreet crap, but like myself and buddies in the military, we tend to not care what civilians do with their freedom, unless you're Soulja Boy, haha.

As for the .001%, I think the hooah SSG meant 0.01 since the US military is only 1 percent of the US.

Obviously I know protesting isn't illegal, but there are such things as illegal protest.
I would say most Privates bitch that their SGT's are bastards and SGT's bitch because they got yelled at by their PSG because the SGT's joes failed the SGT's...or did the SGT fail the joe? I'm looking forward to getting out. Army life just ain't my style, ha. No need to explain, you obviously know how it is also lol.
The SSG got his stat right, it is .001%...effin crazy!

...Glad to see your a fan of Soulja Boy also haha

I don't consider Occupy Wall Street illegal protesting, but like I said, I don't pay attention to it.

I have yet got yelled at by my squad leader or platoon sgt for something my soldier did. But then again, my soldiers have been on the smarter side, and I was able to smoke them if they needed it.

I love the Army, and I try and separate myself from my fellow NCO's who bitch about the military. Why? Because negativity rubs off on people around them. I was the only team leader who was hooah about the Army, the other 2 team leaders were so negative about the Army it turned my who thought process around, especially since I had to share a room with one of them. Now they both got sent home from this lame *** deployment and now I'm back to my normal self and most likely going to the E6 board before I leave here.

But, this isn't a thread about how the military life is, so I'll let it get back on track. Feel free to PM me if needed.
