Ok, hunting season is in full swing, anyone have any picture worthy trophies or just any hunting pics?I've seen some nice bucks this year but nothing while in the stand or at bow range.

Those muzzle loaders must be a pain to keep on target looks like one might gotten close to the gut, and the other is high on the shoulder close to the back strap.

Nice eight points and the bobcat is beautiful. I'm headed out in the morning for the last day of turkey season. And praying for some cool weather to get the deer moving.

Your deer has no antlers! Strange........ besides, he's only sleeping, but I wouldn't wait around till he wakes up.

Its actually really accurate and I normally don't have to adjust it at the beginning of the season. I have a T/C Encore so I just take the barrel off at the end of muzzleloader season and put it in the safe and when I pull it back out it will shoot 3-4" groups at 100 yds. The first one I was walking through the woods with my dad and chased two does right towards us and he stopped at about 10 yds quartering away, so the shot is a little far back but no gut. And the second one was a far shot, about 200yds, and it hit him in the spine, so the shot you see in the pick was to finish him off.

We only have black tail at the coast here. Mule's and white tail are all east. For black tail (we count points from one side only and no eye guards) a 4 point is a trophy. (it would count as an 8 elsewhere)

I have a little 2x3 buck that has been on my job site 3 times this week. Friendly little guy. Got some video of him on my phone.
That bobcat has really nice color. The cats around here are more on the grey side. Neighbor just trapped one that was eating his chickens. We do have cougar here though, although only a few hunt them anymore. Ive been stalked by one at the river bank before... pretty scary.

Just giving you a hard time. Trust me, not all my shots were perfect. We have a lot of brushy terrain and thick trees at the coast range.. not many clear cuts either. So most shots are high bank shots or downward shots into thick brush.

The turkey hunt today was a waste, about 20mph wind and nothing was moving. The cold weather is in the forcast and the neighbors turnip field next door should get a good frost on it this weekend so the deer hunting is looking good for me in the not so distant future.

I wish we had a fall turkey season in GA. We have a ton of turkeys on our land and see groups of them just about every time we go deer hunting, but then in turkey season they seem to disappear. Especially the gobblers, I can almost always get a group of hens within shooting distance, but the gobblers like to stay in the deep woods.

We have a fall and spring season here in WV. The fall season is either sex and is open all day long and the spring season is gobbler only and is open till 1pm. But it seams like every year our seasons come in about 3 weeks late also. By the time the season is in the gobblers are all henned up and its hard to get them to come in.
