I'm a fan of kershaws I have the OD-2 AMAZING little knife for under $20 I carry it everyday and use it on everything from an orange to cutting wires. Very strong as I have used it to pry on a lot of things and I keep it sharp with just a plain ol sharpening stone.

I combined two Benchmade Griptillians into one. I wanted the carbon fiber handle of this one:

And the waterproof blade and serrated edge of this one:

Benchmade all the way. I've had mine for almost 3 years and it's been a very solid knife. I'm not a knife pro by any means, but I've had quite a few knives over the years and I love my Benchmade. You really get what you pay for when it comes to things like knives and guns.

Wow -- in looking at all the blades you guys are carrying around here all I can say is that I'm "cutlery deficient".....

I guess you never know when Armageddon is going to strike.....

Everyday, I carry my old Winchester knife. Stainless handle with wood inlays. Had it for several years. I also have a very nice Buck Knife (nicer than the Winchester), but it is too big to carry every day and it doesn't have the small serrated part of the blade like the Winchester does.

I've got a Gerber DPSF EZ-Out with a S30V blade that I've had for like 3 years... and it's had a rough life, but it still works well, and when I sharpen it at 20 degrees, it won't need to be sharpened for months, even with lots of use. I've got the black one shown below.

Supposibly there is a silver/stainless version of it. I only saw it once, and it's like double the price for some odd reason, but it still has the same S30V blade.
