I have a 1984 ford f150 and the key Is stuck and the Ignition and wont come out, but Its not even the key for the Ignition I think Its the one for the glove box so I cant even get the wrong key out and the Ignition wont go back to the lock position so the key could even come out. The key will turn as If It would start the thing but I hear a dead battery type sound. I have tried Jerking the think but no luck Idk what to do. The Ignition wont come back to lock spot, so I could get the key out, and Its not even the key for the Ignition.

 

If it's a manual trans there is a little button under the ignition that you need to push to turn the ignition back to remove the key.

 

It Is a manual but I dont see a button under the Ignition.

 

It's there or at least it should be...... Try pushing in on the ignition while turning the key back as well.

 

I looked under the Ignition there Isnt a button and I tried pushing In on It but didnt work.

 

Is there a little lever that looks like half a finger hole behind the ignition? If so, pull it towards you and turn the key to the lock position.

If not that, try wiggling the wheel back and forth while turning the key.

 

I got It fixed a few days ago.
