Need some input on phones...
I am in the process of deciding which phone to get next.
I currently have an older Droid(Motorola).I like it but am thinking about getting Iphone4.
I dont use my phone for buisness just online, calls, texting, storing info, numerous apps...etc
I would like some input good ,bad and the ugly without bashing

Well, you can get a new 8gig iPhone 4 (not the new 4s) for $99 with a 2 year contract - only if you're up for renewal or are a new customer. That's a helluva deal on a nice phone right there.
I'm assuming you have Verizon?
It all depends on what you like, simplicity or customization? Simplicity=Iphone hands down...It can also be customized but it's a little more involved.
Personally, I really like the Android OS. I just like the way the phones are laid out etc. I think if I were to buy a phone right now it would be the Droid Bionic, again it's just my preference.
If you're gonna get an Iphone, I would spring for the 4s. Every review I've read and all the videos I've watched give me the impression that it's going to be a lot better than the 4 and you'll probably regret settling for the 4 in the long run. I pre-ordered one for my wife, if you still haven't gotten a phone by this weekend when it comes in, I'll give you some info on it.

But basically The 4s looks just like the 4 physically, but comes with the A5 processor, world phone capable (gsm, CDMA, etc.), Siri, few other bells and whistles.
Honestly i think the coolest new features is the new iOS 5 and the iCloud, which will work on the last model iPhone 4 and even the one before that (3GS).

The iPhone is tempting to me as well. I might have one now, if it had a slide out keyboard. I can't deal with the virtual keyboard. That's why I'm using this HTC.
There are a lot of phones to choose from. I doubt any one is perfect, but I'm sure that there's one that you'd be happy with.
I have an iPhone 4S on its way (preordered last week). I develop apps for Android, however, I cannot stand the fragmentation (different versions of the OS, all of the custom UI skins, third party applications, etc) and I can't stand that not a single Android phone even comes close to the build quality of the iPhone.
Android and iPhone are capable of just about the same things, but with Android you're looking at a variety of mostly inferior hardware as well as compatibility issues depending on the OS version and skins. iPhone, however is not as open as Android (can't customize it with widgets or anything) plus the screen is only 3.5", which is small compared to my current 4.3" android device. Everything has its trade offs.

Thanks for the input. I will do my homework and figure out what to do...better to ask folks that actually use em rather than read the manufacturers site because everybody has the best product, lol. Thanks again.
Also @ Slamma ...keep me in mind on the info when ya get it.

If you're used to using an android based system then for the sake of being easy stick with it.....
Although the apple os appears similar there are little quirky differences between the two......
To me the android seems easier to navigate.....
