I will. Now that my drive to work is just a 15 mile drive, me and the wife think it would be easier with one. That way I'm closer to home instead of a hour drive away.

yeah the 2008 was the year of the re-design.

06f150, winter months is the best time to get a bike, they are usually cheaper, thats why i got mine.

Nice bike!!! Stay safe out there. Don't ever trust the cagers, respect your equipment for what it can or cannot do, and always keep the rubber down. When riding in traffic always leave yourself an option in case things go wrong. Ride ahead or behind a vehicle never along the side of them unless your passing. Most importantly, no matter how far your going wear proper gear. I see too many people out here in shorts, tennis shoes, and a wife beater riding these things.

On a lighter note, I like crotch rockets because they keep the "heat" off guys like me who ride cruisers.

I was considering getting that exact bike back in 08' when they first came out. They look very much like the bigger ones with that new design, all while keeping the price very reasonable.

I wanted one mostly for my commute to D.C at the time (can ride in HOV lanes with a bike). It would have saved me a ton of time commuting and I think I would have enjoyed riding on the weekends even. Never did get the bike, and got a job closer to home anyway.

Good luck with it man, enjoy and be safe, watch out for the distracted drivers out there.

I just got one back in April right after getting my license.

For a good forum take a look at Ninjette.org It's one of the sites dedicated to the 250R.

IMO you picked the best color:
