This is the primary reason I didn't buy a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and went with an iPad instead.

The Galaxy Tab is a beautiful piece of hardware, something I followed for months before picking up a tablet, but the Android tablet ecosystem just isn't there right now, so you're buying an awesome piece of hardware with really no software to take advantage of it.

Give it another year and I think you'll really start seeing some apps of the same caliber as some of the really cool ones on the iPad.

The biggest reason that i picked it up, is that in the downtime at work (911 dispatcher) i would read books on my android phone using the amazon kindle app. After a while, it starts to hurt my eyes so i wanted something with a bigger screen. I also considered just buying a kindle, but i figured this would be the better route with being able to connect to the internet and still play games if i wanted too. I wouldn't say that i am disappointed with the purchase, but definitely needs more options for apps and whatnot.
