Quiksilver: Product Review!

I'm sure its a brand that most of us are familiar with. In case your not they sell clothes, board shorts, surf boards, watches, etc. There a pretty big company.

I bought a pair of the Cypher boardshorts because they looked pretty sweet and they were incredibly comfortable. They have a new diamond design that allows you to dry off faster after being in the water because less of the material is in contact with your skin. It really is very comfortable and thats the reason I bought them. But I gotta say it is terrible quality. Well, let me re phrase that. The quality of the threads that were used to sew it all together are complete s**t. Half of the threads are coming un done and there is even a hole already. They were fairly expensive board shorts which is why I am a little ticked off. I have had other boardshorts from other big name brands like Hurley and Volcom and have still have those shorts and they are in perfect condition.

I use the Cypher shorts EVERY day(seriously, everyday, not exadggerating). I get home from work around lunchtime and ususally go spearfishing to catch some dinner, then I chill at the beach for a bit then go surfing. When it comes time for bed I shower, wash them out and hang them up to air dry. Thats my routine, every day. And I buy one pair of trunks a year to wear everyday. And these are not cutting it.

So the reason for the long post is to advise you not to buy a pair of these board shorts. It is still summer and I know people still have vacations planned to beaches or wherever. While they are incredibly comfortable, they will start to tear and fall apart if they are used as often as I use them. Since they are so comfortable, I plan on using them until my junk starts to show

If you have these, have you had this problem? I am the third person I know to experience this.

Anyways, enjoy the rest of summer!
