file converter

hey guys

looking to see what some may be using here and where you might have gotten it from (supply a link if you can) i'm looking to convert some mp4 and m4a files to mp3's to play in my truck. would like to know what some people might be having some good luck with. i've seen some from cnet but looking for other options if they are successful. thanks

Then again, you didn't really give us proper information... What operating system are you using?

If Linux, do you want a KDE or Gnome app? I can help you with that.

i'm using windows. these are specifically some files i have from my zune player that saved themselves as m4a and mp4 formats but i am using them on a 500gb wd usb drive i did the usb2 mod with so i need to convert them to mp3.

I use audacity. It does more than convert files, but it is free and changes from about any type to about any type.

i've never had a problem with pazera. it's main use is converting video but you can convert audio with it.
