read this (like a rock.., sure)

I read this on the GM forum.

this makes my day because it happened to the guy next store to me last week in his blazer or is it blaze er

My 1999 blazer power operated front passenger seat caught on fire with out any reason one day while I am driving under 25 mph . GM inspected the vehicle and says there is no manufacturer defect and hence they don't fix it. The investigator didn't even look under the seat frame to find out any electrical malfunctioning. I like to know what alternatives I have to proceed against GM. The vehicle has never been smoked inside . It is 1999 model. Beware this may happen to you , if you own one. Any suggestions how to proceed with GM will greatly appriciated. This is a life and death safety problem with Blazers.
Thanks

Sagging seat

Guess the problems with the foam sinking in the ford drivers seat could be worse. You could be sitting in a leaning seat and catch on fire.

That's kinda scary. I'm always fiddlin' with the pass. seat in my wife's '99 because it doesn't always work right.
