Name this fish.....(pics)



My old man caught this fish outside of Bend Oregon a couple weeks ago. He caught it on a fly rod using a Wolleybugger (no clue if that's how you spell it) He also described the body of water as a small lake or large pond. Any clue what kind of fish it is.

Also called a Palomino.

FWIW, we have the Golden Trout Wilderness around here. The golden trout down here look a lot different than the fish in the pic.

Here's what passes for a Golden Trout down here. Small trout that populates high elevation streams.

Its not a Golden Trout...Golden Trout are populated in high lakes like mentioned.

Its a man made "Lightning Trout"...google it and you'll see the difference. Mainly in the mouth of the fish as it resembles a salmon. Congrats, beautiful fish your dad caught.
