You should go to talk to some of the Cummins Diesel performance guys about what happens to a Dodge tranny when you throw around 750-800hp at it. It makes a BIG bang.

The absolute only thing dodge has going for them now a days is their hight output cummins, which stupidly only comes in a 3500 dually.
And they are the only ones that offers a manual trans.

Not for long if the rumblings are true.

Nope, no one will be able to get a manual unless it comes in a med duty or heavier truck. I have just heard rumblings of this so I don't know how much truth there is in it.

I have seen them blow at the dragstrip, and it don't take that much power to blow a Mopar tranny ..... I have driven a tow truck for the past 10 years..... I lost count how many blown Mopar transmission i have seen since about 9 years and 11 months ago

I know, I have contemplated an Eaton Fuller 8spd or 10sp swap into my truck but that's normally after a few brown bottles and talking cars with friends in the garage late at night.

Yeah I think he was. He doesn't see anything wrong with not paying his bills, so him buying a new toy without paying his debts first is no suprise. Doesnt he still live with mommy and daddy too or is that someone else?

Kind of funny all this talk and no pics. If I was so proud of my "big powerful" new truck I'd probably post a picture. Glad you got the drag racing truck you wanted. Must not care too much about reliability, comfort or ability to tow very much.

I've also had die hard Chevy fans and Dodge fans in my truck and they complimented on the way it rides, looks, interior and the power of the 5.4. One of them actually went out and bought an 08 XLT.

GOOD bye!

I let my cousin (A hardcore Ford Fan) test drive it and he's going to look at one this weekend! Pics soon to come!!
See you later!!!! Good luck with your POS new ride.

Dude's running down to his local Fiat dealer right now to take a truck out for a test drive and snap a few shots of it along the way in a local neighborhood to make it look like it's his truck.....

Ford dont HAVE to offer warranties like that. Ford out sells Dodge nearly 2-1 they charge 3-4 grand more for there trucks. Ford quality and inovation seem to be enough to keep all but the stupidest of people happy..
Now go find the sheep fourm.

What a shame.

Bought a truck form the worst manufacturer in quality and reliability. We all own a part of your new truck too since we all bailed Dodge out.

My brother has an 05 1500 with the Hemi, 89k and has a nasty bottom end knock. Trans is starting to slip between 3-4 and it won't hold an alignment for crap. Those bigger hp numbers are a hype.. I've drove his and ran against it playing around between stop lights. Nothing impressive... Doesn't ride near as nice either
