weinergate

surprised this one hasnt been beat to death on here.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._lnk3%7C215291

what a loser. his arrogance is still with him. most would be so embarrased that they would resign. having lived across the river from ny he would be front and center on the evening news beating someone into submission. he was unrelenting. he would go for the other guys throat like a pit bull. now the shoe is on the other foot.

even more disturbing is that his wife is hillary's personal shadow aide. happens to be half pakistani and half iranian. any conflict or security risk there?

Our main problem with politicians is we expect them to have common sense.

Things will be fine fir the twitter twit. I heard Barney Frank is taking in Weiner, he's got his back.

What good would it do for him to resign?
That district would just elect another weiner.

Our district has been holding our collectives breaths with the new guy we sent.
But so far, Congressman Derriere has kept his nose clean and no part of him has been in the internet.

And another thing, come up with a different name for it!

Weinergate just sounds too painful, I'm not liking the visual at all.

Weiner

Yeah, Watching the MSM last night, he was quite aragont during his admission of guilt. But since he is a Dem this will wash over quickly.

If they won't oust people like Charlie Wrangel and Maxine Waters for what they did there is no way Weiner will be punished. They broke laws and used their positions for massive personal gain.

Face it, there are two sets of rules for what is acceptable behavior on Capital Hill. If a person from one party taps his foot the wrong way in the bathroon the other party (who claims to be for gay rights) will slam him for trying to score a gay hooker. He just showed some chicks his junk. They might try to make him the QB for the Jets.

Hopefully, he'll do the right thing and resign, as Chris Lee did earlier this year.

The main problem with politicians is that the vast majority are just liars & could not give a rats *** for the 'common man' just as long as we vote for them!!

This guy should walk away and resign. He is an idiot and lying about it to begin with makes it tenfold worse.

I agree that ones that get caught up in illegal actions like Rangel should be booted out of the Congress.

As far as issues like lewd pics and picking up hookers...I don't think on the surface they should be booted but the voters in their district have to make that determination at the next election.

Now I will admit I am more critical of Republicans that get busted for these things than Democrats in general. Not because of party affiliation but rather the fact of their stance. I don't like hypocrites. For example Gingrich going after Clinton for the Monica Lewinsky thing while it comes out he was cheating on his ill wife. Don't be preaching family values and have 5 ex wives and 7 illegitimate children.

I love your assumptions about the MSM, basically MSNBC, chris matthews said he should resign, ed schultz said he should resign, even about 80% of the correspondents said he should to!

And they probably won't say much more about it. If it had been a Republican they would keep hounding the person until they resigned. In all reality they should stick to their jobs of reporting the news and leave their opinion out of everything. If I wanted their opinion I would have squeezed them until they farted.

No, they are still talking about it, and the opinionated shows are the money makers!
