One way to wake up after you fall asleep driving
This was in the local news. I found it pretty funny and could only imagine what the guy thought when it was over
"ONE Man was INJURED AND STUCK IN A TREE AFTER BEING EJECTED FROM A PICKUP IN A ONE VEHICLE CRASH Monday morning. The man, 62 year old LUIS CASTILLO - MARTINEZ from Del Rio was driving south on US highway 277 about 16 miles north of San Angelo in Coke County. The DPS says Martinez fell asleep and drove off the road. The pickup drove across the northbound lane and into the east ditch of US 277. He then awoke and overcorrected back onto the roadway and into the west ditch. As the pickup drove into the ditch it began to spin clockwise and rolled three times. As the pickup rolled, Martinez was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the pickup. After Martinez was ejected, he landed in a nearby tree 15 feet off the ground. Martinez remained in the tree until he was eventually removed and treated by Airmed 1 personnel, then transported to Shannon."
