Who does Obama work for?

To help stabalize the region the former president leveraged a trillion+ dollars to invade and occupy Iraq for no other reasons than wanting to have a war so he'd be seen as a successful leader, get control of the oilfields for the oil corporations and get a little revenge for Daddy. Iraq was no threat to the US, contrary to what propaganda you were sold and bought into wholeheartedly and had no WMD's. How about that Billion+ embassy, eh?
Who's going to have to work more hours to pay for the Iraq invasion and occupation, not to mention the billion or so per month being spent on the clusterflock in Afganistan? You are. Who's going to work more hours to pay for the billions and billions of dollars the oil guys got the govt. to spend trying to secure those oilfields? You are. These are the same guys that pay no taxes and are subsidized up the ying yang by even more of your tax dollars.
Take the blinders off folks. It ain't all the new guy's fault. He has to deal with the mess he inherited from the previous admin.
Myself, I think Obama has done a less than great job, doesn't deserve to be re-elected and in some ways is as bad or worse than Bush was, but who you gonna elect? Palin? Newt?
Is it Rand Paul that wants to pull US forces out of all foreign countries? That would save a gazillion dollars all by itself, though a lot of his other policy ideas are pretty scary...

Couldn't agree with you more about Iraq. We should have never "liberated" those folks. They apparently didn't figure it was worth their blood to set themselves free, why should we spill our blood. Same for Afghanistan and Pakistan. If India and Pakistan want to duke it out, let 'em. We are not the world police and we are giving our childrens future away for countries that hate us.
In regards to the oil fields. We get CRAP, yes CRAP, in the way of crude oil from most of the Arab nations. It's heavy, it's full of sulfur, and costly to refine. We don't NEED their oil. WE have at our own shores, more than 15 times all of the Arab reserves. We have enough accessible crude in our sphere of influence to use at the rate of 6% increase per year and STILL have oil in the year 3060. But the dimwit in DC says you can't drill for it. And if you were to drill for it, you can't have a permit to build a new refinery to process it. There's enough natural gas in the Gulf of Mexico to last well past your grand childrens grandchildren and their grandchildren with LOTS left over. With the oil reserves in Alaska, Gulf of Mexico, Utah, North and South Dakota, along the Continental Divide, we don't NEED any oil from other countries. The fact that you are paying near $4.00 a gallon for gas is all about the power. Power over you from the dimwit in DC.
I would like to think that dimwit didn't purposely run for office to destroy this nation but it's looking more like it everyday. Even his staunch supporters are bailing out. Oprah Winfrey has with drawn all support. Many others have as well. Peter Fonda now calls him a traitor. The world is laughing at the USA because of the dimwit. We have few friends any where in the world today and the situation just got worse with his support of the Palestinians. We can no longer be a trusted ally. We have no credibility and when things get real tough, we'll be left to fend for ourselves. If things don't turn around and soon, you won't be on the internet chatting like we do now. There won't be an internet of much worth in a 3rd world nation and folks, we are headed there at the speed of the lies that come out of dimwits mouth.

Here's the part about the ME that irritates me. The Muslims hate us because we support Israel, even though we also support the Muslims. Fine if you want us to die, we will take our money and leave. We can give Israel the money/support we were giving the Muslims and call it a day.
