What, you are slamming two political commentators that are considered liberal? Would the debate be better if done with Rush and Beck? Of course it would be better because it would be full of softballs that would spin it toward the right.

I got my info from the CBO, which reviewed the Ryan plan and wrote a summary finding letter on it.
Not too hard to do a search and find the info is on the Congressional Budget Office web site. PDF of the Summary letter that the CBO wrote on 5-APR-2011.

You do know what the CBO is and what they do, right ?

Wow, you really like to parrot what you are spoon fed on TV.

The CBO says one thing, and you choose to listen Maher who out and out lied about what the money is to be used for ( let alone what the amount is, or what the 15K number really is ).

Go back and read what the Premium Support Payments are to be used for.
The key to this is in the name of the payment. If you cannot do a simple google search I guess you are stuck listening to the MSM, misinforming you.

As to answer the question on private insurance for those of Medicare age, where do you think all the Medicare supplemental plans come from, that people purchase in droves today ?
I know the supplement plans ( part F ) to cover items that Medicare does not cover ( which it does cover any where close to everything ) are cheaper than my insurance costs through a large company. This plan covers quite a bit of items that Medicare does not.

No Maher just tells lies about what the plan contains, and knows that you the viewer will not bother to do your own research ( at the CBO ) to find how he is lying about how it works.
This is on par with me telling you how brain surgery works, I have never done it, I have read a few articles on the topic, so I must be an expert in how it is being done wrong today.

But you notice they do not sit around a TV camera telling out and out lies like Ed Schultz and Bill Maher did with this one.
Diversion #2, Ryan budget plan - attack that now that going after the Oil Companies with taxation was pointed out to be against the Constitution.
- Need to hold out a few more months so the Senate budget work is not done, and can blame the House when things go in the ditch ( that is plan #5, there are still 2 more diversions for the summer )

No, with this case, the truth is at the other end.
Maher is so far off base on this topic, this is not a case of incomplete story, it is an out and out lie about the Ryan plan.

They're not forced, it's called Private Fee For Service, and the patient has to be qualified for Medicare/Medicaid, and the plan has to mirror original Medicare/Medicaid benefits, and it has to be subsidized. Companies take on these responsibilities to make tons of money off of Medicare/Medicaid recipients, and since these people qualify for the Medicare/Medicaid, they also qualify for any PFFS plans that there may be out there and they are free to choose which ones. You don't want to take elderly people regardless of health? Don't sign up to be a Medicare/Medicaid provider, simple as that.

I'd be willing to bet that they have both been invited, but both refused to appear. This works both ways.

Here's some Michael Steele dumbass moments:
As Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, Steele committed $70 million in grants and loan guarantees for small and minority-owned businesses.[65] "Studies show enormous disparities still exist in education, healthcare, employment and economic opportunities along racial lines in the United States. I believe programs are still necessary to help close these divides. I support giving people opportunities. Programs must be fair to all Marylanders – of every color – and they should focus on economic empowerment." ... "We're just beginning to rediscover what we should be doing with affirmative action. Don't look at our universities. We got that. Let's look at our boardrooms, let's look at the management structure."[65]

"We are cooling. We are not warming. The warming you see out there, the supposed warming, and I use my fingers as quotation marks, is part of the cooling process. Greenland, which is covered in ice, it was once called Greenland for a reason, right?"[67][68]

July 2, 2010 video footage of Steele was released in which he stated that the Afghan war was "a war of Obama's choosing. If he's such a student of history has he not understood that, you know, that's the one thing you don't do - is engage in a land war in Afghanistan? Everyone who has tried, over a thousand years of history has failed."[77] He also said the war was "not something the United States had actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in."[78] In July 2010, neoconservative William Kristol called for Steele to resign and Former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove referred to Steele's comment as "boneheaded".[79] The War in Afghanistan was initiated by George W. Bush in October 2001 in retaliation for the September 11 attacks on New York City and Washington D.C. and Barack Obama has increased troop levels there since taking office.[80] John McCain, Arizona Senator and Republican nominee for president in the 2008 election, withdrew his support from Steele, calling Steele's comments "wildly inaccurate... there is no excuse for them", saying "I think that Mr. Steele is going to have to assess as to whether he can still lead the Republican Party as chairman of the Republican National Committee."[81] McCain's comments have been echoed by Senator Jim DeMint, who said Steele should "apologise to our military, all the men and women who've been fighting in Afghanistan" and Senator Lindsey Graham who said "It was an uninformed, unnecessary, unwise, untimely comment. This is not President Obama's war, this is America's war. We need to stand behind the president." Former Vice President **** Cheney's daughter Elizabeth Cheney has also called for Steele to resign. Congressman Ron Paul, who is known for his generally antiwar stance, has come out in support of Steele, however, saying "Michael Steele has it right, and Republicans should stick by him."[82]

That last one also makes me question Ron Paul's intelligence.

See? He's a dumbass. I found that in 10 seconds. I am sure that if he were to try to run, there would be a ton more come out, not to mention his flip-flops on things like abortion and stem-cell research.

Go figure out what the CBO does, before you embarrass yourself any further

Don't know if the reelect Obama campaign would want you advertising for them, when this is your demonstrated knowledge of how the government works. Then again......
