Question rearview mirror question

Hi can anyone tell me how to properly adjust the mirror's on a 2001 Ford-f150 for someone how is 5'2" tall if I made those numbers right. I am having trouble this is my first pickup I have owned in years. I am kind of mad that the mirror's are not automatic though. But hey what do you want it's an old truck. Thanks by

The easiest way is to sit in the driver's seat and have someone adjust them for you.

And if you don't have anyone to help, then just keep getting out, running to the other side and making slight adjustments until you find the right spot.

Or if you have a bench seat you can just slide on over to make the adjustments. It's what I did in my ole' 97' XL.

in the overhead mirror i have it so i can see right in the middle of my back glass, for the side views i like the left one to barely show the side of the truck and the right to barely show the right side all the way down.

The same as what you would see in a car. Seriously, it is your preference. Personally I like to see a little bit of the side of the truck and a whole lot of behind me. With the interior rear view, in my old truck I broke it off the mount the remounted it at the extreme top of my windshield. The bracket had two joints. I would push it all the way up then angle the mirror down. It gave me a better view of what was directly behind my tailgate. I found that if I lost the front of the vehicle behind me they were within 10 feet of my bumper. My current truck I keep it centered in my rear window. About the only time I use the interior mirror is when backing and then I am looking at the rear camera.

I have mine adjusted so the very bottom edge of the glass is on the tailgate. I normally don't use it much and have contemplated taking it off like I have done in some of my other trucks.

I think it's an honest one from someone that doesn't or hasn't driven a truck very often. I know I have mine set to see certain thing and blind spots on my truck.

Yea but there's blind spots no matter what you drive right ? I've heard of having the seats lifted in the 01 models tho. In 01 they also had adjustable pedals. So that might help, not sure.

You should be able to see yourself of course so you can put your make up on while driving to work in the morning!
