Only in Kentucky

Power company putting up new power lines, works around a transformer for a month and never figures out that something is wrong with it, or its over loaded.

Saturday night/Sunday morning (1:30 AM), transformer bursts into flames.

Power company works from dark into light to fix it.
Destroys tv cable and phones lines to the other half of the county.

Tv gets fixed that day.

Phone company works 5 hours Sunday, and all day yesterday to "fix" it.
Today they said they "fixed it"

NONE OF THE MOTHER FRIGGING NUMBERS ARE RIGHT!!!!

They crossed every wire, I dial home and I get some old lady about 10 miles from the house.
Still can't dial out from home according to my sister.

Next doors house phone still not working.

Phone company doesn't care, says they might have it fixed tomorrow.

All my rage, all of it.

bell south.

When I sent a email (I am at work) about it I was told that the essential lines would be fixed and that the non essential lines may be fixed by the end of the day today.
They might fix it, but I doubt it.

I tried to put bell south out of business.
Went to their parent company to get a contract installing telephone poles.
Told them we could install just as fast.

They gave my crew a one day trial.
At the end of the day, the Region manager asked how many poles we put in and I told him two.

He said, "Two? My regular crew put in 17 poles!"
I said, "Yeah, but they left theirs sticking 25 feet out of the ground."

It's like cable companies who service certain areas by contract... they basically have a monopoly and don't give a rat's ***. Sad really

Notwithstanding the FUBAR, the line crew was just doing what the work order said to do. Unlikely that the line crew are the same guys as the "Tranny crew" (Bwahahhaha), different skill set. Prolly don't even have authorization to get nearer the thing than you do.
