Looters

I just read this story and man what a bunch of low life azzwipes. 2 hrs into the devastation and people were already looting. Con artists and rip off gas stations /generators being sold for double. WTFR is going on in this country of ours. I say shoot to kill these mothers..... Makes me sick and sad to be an american. At the rate we are declining we should be able to hit rock bottom soon, so dam sad...

Now see right there is reason enough to carry!

Hey, that power saw is mine, but as long as you're taking it, here take this extra 9 mm slug I have too! No need to thank me, you may keep both.

Agreed.

While I was helping my friend clean up what was left of his trailer and house the was building the Co. sheriff and state troopers had 2 trucks pulled over with scrap metal in the back of both. After about an hour of questioning and running them through the system the authorities made them dump the metal, which happened to be in my buddy's front yard. We sat on my tailgate and watched them unload every piece. He told the cops to make them pick it up and move it. And they did.

BuckD I know what you mean it's horrible how people treat one another in their time of need. I like to think those heartless tools will be caught by karma one day. What's thats saying, "you reap what you sow."

I don't think I'd just let someone walk away with my belongings...

I work for a moving company in Tuscaloosa and one of my customers told me they had stuff stolen from inside their house during daylight while they were even in it. They were allowing volunteers to come in and use the restroom and such and next thing they know they had a PS3 and a few guns gone. It's amazing how ****ty people can be.

That's terrible. Whatever happened to people helping eachother. Not just because someone needs help but because its the right thing to do. I helped a guy get to a gas station who ran out of gas yesterday. It's not that hard to be a good person and yet there are very few good people out there. I by no means am a good person but if I see someone who needs help I will help them. I just feel its the right thing to do.

That happened a ton back in Florida in 04 when we had 3-4 hurricanes come through. Our governor started fining the gas stations and retail stores for jacking up prices of gas and generators and such. Several gas stations got fined $100,000's of dollars... and rightfully so. As for looters.. that's what the HK was for...

If I was a victim of a disaster, I'd camp out at my place and pick off anybody that remotely looked like they were going to steal something from me or my neighbors.

I had seen that picture before. Quite a while ago. But, I never really looked at it really close. Today, for some reason, I looked at the facial expressions on each of the people there. I'm drawn to the guy in the center of the picture, with the red shirt and dark hat, right in front of the word "With". He looks really, really uncomfortable.

I'm imagining a contest where you put a thought balloon above this guy's head. Probably not PC, but I'd bet it would be funny.

Sadly nowadays our country would much rather help out another than our own people. In relation to helping others ou**** a nice idea but with the nut jobs that are out there u don't know who u are helping out & it might come back to bite u in the ***, this I think deters some from helping.
