"Thunderbird" songs.....

I've got a buddy who just purchased a Thunderbird (it's my dream car -- a 2003 Desrt Sky Blue beauty with the removable hardtop -- gotta' say it sucks when your buddy gets it and not you!) and I'm going to make him a CD with Thunderbird songs on it.

Here are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head:

- "Silver Thunderbird" -- Marc Cohn
- "Making Thunderbirds" -- Bob Seger
- "Thunderbird" -- John Hiatt (By the way -- a GREAT tune....!)
- "Heaven, Heartache & the Power Of Love" -- Trisha Yearwood

Any others you can think of?

Probably the most famous would be 'Fun Fun Fun' by the Beach Boys.

Since my buddy already got one in Desert Sky Blue, I've been thinking about changing my "lust" to a White one with the Whisper White interior accent package.....

The Fabulous Thunderbirds was a rock band in the 80"s, here's they're biggest song.

Good call.

FWIW, their guitarist, Jimmie Vaughn, is SRV's brother.

How about Blondie - "T-Birds"

Walter Egan - "The blond in the blue T-Bird" (Stevie Nicks did it too.)

John Denver - "Along for the Ride (56 T-bird)"
