I'm sorry. I can now see where one might be led to the assumption you made. My wording was poor. The time I was referring to occurred when someone hit and left a deer lying in the road. He was still very much alive, laying with his head up although one antler was loose, his skull obviously caved in somewhat. I needed to get that deer out of the road before someone in a car came and smashed into it. The speed limit is 70 in that area. These is no way I would grab hold of a buck mule deer while it was alive, especially injured! I walked behind the deer, shot it in the back of the head at close range. He died immediately. As I drug him off the road, I noticed that from the back of the head, that 32 had blown his eye out!

So! I guess if you're worried about being attacked by a deer, a 32 will protect you very well. I would imagine it would do as well on anything of 100 to 200 lbs. live weight.

watched the video. the guys on here appear or claim to be avid shooters? i got to believe most of us could out shoot them. they seemed pretty predjudiced towards the ruger. their main points of not liking it were my main points that i do. the safety which is easy to remove and the long trigger pull will be less likely to put a round into my leg carrying in my pocket. my g26 has no safety and an easy short pull. thats cool if in a holster but when it gets hot and hard to conceal with no shirt on i would be concerned with the 26 in my pocket.

I have the pf9. Great little gun for the money and easy to conceal. Never had a misfire.
