Obama update...

Obama's popularity might be tanking. Kenyans are now claiming he was born in the United States.

The government did not do any thinking at all. Only Obama and the Dems.

What exactly do you mean by "government"? And when you say, "yes they thought about it", just who are "they"? Just curious.

I love how people throw around the word "birther" to attempt to discredit people that are just asking questions. When a man's own grandmother says he wasn't born in the United States, it is natural to ask questions. Not to mention, Obama spending nearly $2,000,000 to keep this issue quiet.

"they" as in the government and the "government" meaning the government. wouldnt the government check to make sure that the person running is over 35 and born in the us? I think they would

There is an application filled out and filed that has the age, birth date, place, etc on it, to get on the ballot. I doubt anyone ever follows up to check the info on it. It's assumed that anyone filling out that form would be honest and have no reason to lie about it.

???

I think I might know what you attempted (yet somehow failed) to write.

I was going to ask you to try and communicate your thoughts again.

But I changed my mind.

I hate to break it to you, but politicians lie

If he WAS born in Kenya but still wanted to be president, he would have to lie about it, wouldn't he?

Basically, IF he was born in Kenya, he has a HUGE incentive to lie about it and cover it up.

Crawl in a hole then. It's not going away. My post was in response to almost 50% of polled Iowans thinking the POTUS is not a US citizen, and another 25% not knowing what to think on the issue. Those are big numbers regardless of whether he was or wasn't born here.

Another thing you don't get, is that when you have to bargain and bicker with people who don't want to do anything about the spending issues in our government (Democrats), you have to ask for things you know they are going to have an interest in saving. Otherwise there is nothing to leverage them with. Obama will be dragged kicking and screaming into cutting, and then take credit for the whole shebang. But at least we will have taken a small step in the right direction.
