it's a HUGE leap from the 40D i've been using, i've only taken a few pictures with it so far, and it's mind-blowing!

I have the 7D...and did the same upgrade from the 40D...although still have the 40D also... That might have to go though, the 5D mkII is slick ....and I would not mind a full frame either...

So unless it is bright, I usually have to bump up the iso, even as high as 1600. But the dual processors in the 7D do keep the noise down and then I have also used Noise Ninja when needed.

Just picked up a SonyDSC-H55 from work on clearance. It seems like a good point and shoot. Had my eye on it since last summer/fall. Should get some good experience in before going to an SLR
