Corded is only good if u have an outlet with reach etc, could also be somewhat hazardous if any water is around, its a difficult choice

get the "detent pin" one and use it with a set of real impact sockets (bought mine at harbor freight)

Pulls off lug nuts no problem. I always use a torque wrench to put them on, though.
gotcha, you bought the wrench at harbor freight or the sockets? i was wondering what they meant by the pin, thats really good to know! THANKS!

Strange how this worked fine from Telsa inventing AC electricity until 80 yrs later when battery drills came out, and at that time either you had 5 batteries or access to AC power

Doubt that changing a tire in a 12" deep puddle is going to be the norm. Rain does not hurt the Milwaukee Impact, I know mine has been soaked at least 12 times over the years ( it was a construction tool in its previous life ).

I bought the milwaukee 1/2 inch corded electric impact off ebay for $100. I bought the impact sockets at harbor freight. You need impact sockets, those are the matte black ones you see. They are made to take the impact blows without chipping. Normal chrome sockets will chip up right away.

the detent pin is a spring loaded pin that fits into the little hole you see on impact sockets. It makes sure the socket stays on the anvil on the impact gun while being used. I use a pick to depress the pin to get the sockets on and off.
