In Kansas City on Sunday July the 8th, 87 octane only $1.14 and I think it is time to begin cruising the streets in Kansas City again considering you can afford to hit your local Sonic Drive in for a burger and fries.

Gas Prices

Gasoline (Benzine) is running the equivalent of about 90 cents a gallon here - Saudi Arabia Just think of all the money I'm saving by not driving my truck!

Exxon, 1.32 - 1.42 - and 1.52 for regular, plus and super. We usually get shafted on gas prices around here, because there are only three suppliers in my area, and they got together and decided that if they all charged high, then nobody would lose money, and we have no choice but to pay it. On the Tennessee state line it's 1.21 - 1.31 - 1.42, but it's 30 miles there, so it's not worth the drive. I love my truck, but I don't get to drive as much as I used to because of the gas prices. I spend more on gas than I do on insurance every month. Oh well, at least it's down from a month ago. It peaked the week before memorial day at 1.54 - 1.64 - 1.76.
