Exclamation WTH is with USPS!!!

last saturday my truck decided to die on me. fuel pump control module was dead.
so i ordered one from TASCA sunday night. 2 freakin days later they ship it USPS priority mail...they charged me $15.00 to ship a small module USPS. i figure, that's fine...USPS is NORMALLY faster than UPS. just my luck, they decide to take there time and screw me over!

whatever happened to customer service? i mean, this is ridiculous. i could have paid $5.00 less and had UPS deliver probably the same time. i wish there was a way to fight it. it also doesnt help that TASCA decided to "process" the order for 2 days either.

I'd have gone to my dealer and ordered the part.

All I have is USPS is notorious for poor tracking.

i am not in a big hurry for it since the truck is not a DD, dealer wanted $45.00 more for the module. i just didn't expect to wait 5 days for 3 day priority shipping...LOL
all the years shipping USPS i have never relied on the tracking. it has gotten a little better but its nothing like the big shipping companies..

Every time I've received a USPS package the tracking is poorly updated. It tends to put one in a foul mood.

I select UPS whenever possible. "The tightest ship in the shipping business". USPS not so much.

Not that I am a huge fan of the USPS but I don't understand where they did anything wrong. If I understand the time frame correctly, your part arrived in 5 days. It took Tasca 2 days to process the order and the 3 days USPS priority shipping.
Just who took their time and screwed you over, Tasca or the USPS ?
If the $15.00 Tasca charged you for shipping included the 3 day priority service it sounds to me like the USPS did just what was required of them.
Am I missing something here ?

unless it's express mail you don't get up to and accurate info. that's why they call it shipping confirmation not tracking.

the only advantage with priority for me is that it's usually 3 days max to get to me from the east coast vs 5 days UPS or Fedex ground and they do deliver on saturdays even thought fedex ground does as well.

im sort of pissed at both TASCA and USPS. 2 days to process the order? are they that busy? they got the invoice monday morning (i placed it sunday night) and didn't ship it until wednesday. when i called TASCA tuesday morning he said they did not receive the invoice until monday afternoon. flat rate boxes are MAYBE $8.00 to ship something especially as small as that module. if they have handling fees it should be noted, otherwise they overcharged for that.
USPS, they have had the package since wednesday..so its going to be 5 days they have had the box.
remind me why i paid the extra $5 for 3 DAY PRIORITY? normally i rely on UPS because they are accurate. USPS usually can deliver in the 3 day time frame, i guess not this time. especially when its on the same coast!
