This seems to be the new Democratic party. It is only fair and following the rule when they do it.
I have watched the School House Rock PSA on passing a bill, and still cannot find the part about making a mockery of the system by not showing up to work part.....

This will be a tough one, the rules were followed, had the representatives been at work like they were to be, they might have changed what happened ?
The ones hiding in IL had agreed to come back to work, but claimed that session was out until 5-APR-2011. Sure call in sick, and come back to work just in time to claim vacation. That seems fair to me.

They were out of options to stop what the voters of WI wanted to have happen. The representatives elected had a job to do, and the only way for the minority to get their way was to make a mockery of the system, and if that does not work, stop others from doing their job. A version of Anarchy.

Got to love ID, they passed the state union bill, no big 3 ring circus.

Pay and benefits are no longer part of the barging, contracts are only 1 year ( so raises are only 1 year, just like the private sector ) tenure has nothing to do with the order of lay offs, they pay more into the retirement account ( just like the private sector ).

They still get work load, and class size representation via the union.

Done and the gov is scheduled to sign it.
Don't like it, get another job in another state ( figure they know the truth, they can find 5 more certified teachers that want the job ).

Anyone who defends these protesters and AWOL legislators doesn't appear to understand the difference between mob rule and rule of law.
