In the tyler paper...

I sent this in to the Tyler paper and they ran it. It was asking if Ron Paul has a shot at president....

February 28: Ron For President

I would love to see Dr. Paul in the White House, but there are entirely too many folks in this country who are more worried about appearance and popularity than actual factual politics.

He has great ideas, and they will work. But we as a nation have to come together as a well-oiled unit. It’s the little people like city works, county works and state workers who make this machine (America) work, not major corporations, big oil companies, etc.

Ron Paul knows and understands this. If we all want to see our children and grandchildren succeed and keep America No. 1, we have to do the right thing. The next time you vote, vote for what’s best for our country, not the “popular” candidate.

Ron Paul is from my hometown area. I haven't really followed him that much, but I do completely agree with some of the ideas I have heard of his. That's not to say he will be able to handle the ultimate position, but I think he would try his darnedest.

Any one you throw in the WH nowadays will eventually see a power surge, but unfortunately, Congress is there to throw them out if they do...

The real problem with our Govt is who we have in Congress...nothing but greed and self inflicting power. And we can't do anything to get rid of them...

Exactly!

..and that's why I think we need more "Ron Pauls" in politics ... man that would be nice.

Lifer politicians are in their positions so long they forget who they are working for, their constituents, the voter. They then get corrupted by the system and lobbyists grease them with cash.

We need honest politicians, but is there such a thing?

No matter who they are, Ron Paul included, we need to get new ones in there to work for us. Get rid of the goons.
