Well, lets see!!! My wife has a Traverse. I keep it up for her. trust me, I don't like it either because it's a Chevy. But, it's my wife and her truck, so I do it anyway. How every, I check the oil in it often and it;s never low. Just saying, you need to start doing your own oil change on it. Them damn dealerships and other oil changing places will tell you anything. All they want to do is get money out of you.

My first one was a Formula Firehawk... I haven't seen another one in years.
Yeah I am about 5'8" never had problems with the seats. Mine had the factory Hurst shifter I heard was a little better than the standard shifter. As far as strut tower braces and subframes my buddy started his own business building those.. I got the best price (free) on all those plus lowering springs and panhard rod and torque arm. Made a world of difference...and yeah the Firehawks were the bomb...

My 03 F150 has never burned a drop of oil it gets changed at 5k and guaranteed its going to be on full. My 95 F150 with the 351 has 320,000 miles and every 3000 miles i change the oil and its still on full. My 94 E150 with the inline 6 has 254,000 miles and once again chug full at the 3k mark. My 96 Lincoln has 105,000 miles and always chug full at 3k. I love my fords and never had a no problems at all out of any of em.

It's not normal either.
I work for Land Rover, any time we have a quality assurance issue on a new vehicle, we have to document it well and email engineering about it, so they are aware of the problem, an can start to develop a robust fix for it. Without our emails, they would think the cars are flawless......

I still think anyone who is upset about using a quart of oil every 3500 miles is ignorant and not being realistic.

Every truck I have owned has used about a quart of oil between oil changes it's just the nature of the beast. My dad and I would joke that when his Suburban and my Sierra were a quart low we knew it was time to get the oil changed and both of them had 350's.

Driving conditions can also be a factor.

For example, lots of engine braking can greatly increase oil consumption.

I was a GM tech, and 95% of the GM vehicles leak oil, even the new ones. GM's leak oil too quickly to be burned off in the engine
