Only the corrupt ones.

They are easy to tell because only corrupt politicians have vowels in their name.

What was that saying about "if their mouth is moving"???

I find it interesting someone listed Carter. While doing a horrid job as president, he probably was one of the most honest presidents we ever had.

The rest are self serving scum. I can't think of many that have an ounce of character.

The one that stands out to me is everyone's favorite mama grizzly, Sarah Palin though. She just makes me cringe. She walked out on AK to make some quick cash!

I am sure the dozens of trumped up ethics charges and lawsuits that Democrats lobbed against her during/after the 2008 election that she had to use her own money to fight didn't have anything to do with it.

palin had bigger ***** and was able to stand up for herself than most of the whiny run and hide democrats. definetly more of a man than barney fwank. but like you said she had to do something to dig out of the hole. to bad i think she might have gone some where. if not pres maybe vice pres. sure would rather look at her than biden. speaking of biden where has he been? they lock him and his mouth in the basement?

reason i mentioned carter is how his economic policies ran the interest rates up to 16% for mortgages. he also pushed thru the SSI for foreigners coming to the US. making the eligible for SSI, despite never putting anything into it also made them eligible for medicare. so now we suffer.

Honest, I would probably have to agree with that, stupid beyond belief, I'd have to agree with that also, and throw in delusional because he still believes that he did the right things and made the right decisions, and has all the answers for the worlds problems. But honest, Yeh, I'd probably have to agree. When his Momma said Billy was the smarter one, (remember "pee on the runway Billy?) , you know you're in trouble!

Only REALLY stupid people believe ANYTHING a politician says. Unfortunately there is no shortage of those people.

No doubt about it...Carter wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Of course when Carter won the presidency in 1976, he was facing Gerald Ford who took the heat for pardoning Nixon. At that point in time, the Soviets could have sponsored a candidate to beat Ford!!! I guess Carter was their second choice!

On the other hand, Carter meant well and what morally is the right thing isn't necessarily the right thing. He had a slow southern draw and most Americans felt like Elmer Fudd was running the country at a time of despair.

I kind of liken W to Carter in the sense that I think W was a good guy but not the sharpest. The only difference is that W had some bad guys pulling the puppet strings (Cheney and Rove).
