How would I make it safer? Instead of putting reflectors I'd put a few huge stone blocks or set some telephone poles and just cut them off at 10 ft. I know they'll stop a truck.

That family is lucky they've got a pool, it saved their lives.

first time was a silver ford ranger? Hmmm looks like a early 90s silverado to me, complete with a gold bowtie on the front

i saw a ranger

theres an intersection similar by my house and they installed large pillars on the outside of the wall(by road) that are steel pipe filled with cement so the person that tries to go straight get the pillars not the wall

That is a Ford Ranger. Look how round the fender wells are...those Chevys are flat.
