they still by law have to honor warranties. same as when saturn and olds and all those other GM companies went out, GM still had to honor the warranties. Although since this is just a random company I'd ask a lawyer or read the fine print on the warranties.

when i bought the extened warrantys. one was in 09 the the other two in
early 2010. the deal was if not used, you would get half back in store credit
for any purchase if this is correct it does not look good i will go there tomorrow and check. i figure this will be a loss. anyone have any other
info or bougth from them

I think you are out of luck with an in-store extended warranty unless they sold them off to a warranty company.

Agreed. The reason Saturn, Olds and Pontiac warranties are honored is because the new GM agreed to accept that liability of the old GM.

In this case it is just a random company and if they go out of business, you are out of luck. Now if the warranty is serviced by an insurance company (i.e. a Wal-Mart extended warranty) then you would be ok.

I would think that you would be able to through the manufacturer.

The manufacturer will only honor the manufacturer's warranty. They will not help you with a store-sold extended "warranty" (insurance policy).
