That was certainly a good game to watch. Glad that TCU has a real conference with an automatic bid next year, wish Boise would do the same, would sure shake up the BCS!
Also, I HATE the SEC. I don't hate every team, I like some of them, but I cannot stand the people who think that if you're not in the SEC that you shouldn't be in the top 7.

I vote for a playoff system.....but thats just me.

Works great in the FCS. The school I graduated from (Georgia Southern) was 4-4 at one point during this past season, but subsequently knocked off the number 1 team in the nation and made it to the semifinals. Computer rankings are stupid.

I agree with the Georgia Southern fan.... Gulp, what am I saying. ASU forever!

Computer rankings are nice, but you gotta play the game!

I wish we had a playoff too but its all about the money though. Look at those Ohio State guys that sold all that stuff. The suspensions don't start until NEXT season. The NCAA wanted to make sure they made money off these kids in the Sugar Bowl, because not as many people would have watched/went if Pryor and the other stars of the team couldn't play the bowl game. College Football is pretty corrupt but I watch it anyway lol. GO NOLES!!

Of course everyone hates the SEC whenever all the "good" teams from other conferences meet us in bowl games they get destroyed (there are a few exceptions but few and far between) i.e. Tennessee and South Carolina, (regardless if they're SEC East champs or not). Not saying we have always been good. But you know as well as I do that in today's world the SEC is king. No conference has to play the schedules SEC teams do. I mean look at Michigan State who only had one loss the season (tied for first in the Big Ten) and got absolutely man handled by Bama (Third in the SEC West). SEC picked apart the Big Ten this past Saturday and have for years. I will say this, I'd love to see a playoff system in college ball it'd make the National Championship a lot more fun and entertaining for all. Just look at how many people watch the super bowl because they know that the two teams there beat out all the other good teams to make it there. (not just went undefeated and were handed it) i.e. Auburn almost lost several games this year one to a mediocre Kentucky team in the final seconds. IMO the playoff system would vastly better college football. I also believe the auto BCS bid per conference is BS. SEC fan or not.

It's all good for the gate receipts! I think with Edwards gone last year the playing field is just about level.

I just don't see the toughest schedule in the country in the SEC. Bama is a good team, they lost some games on flukes this year, but really, how many good teams did they play? There's not a lot, one or two teams have an up year, but that doesn't mean the whole conference is monstrous.
I just don't believe that the top 5 teams in the country are SEC.

My Razorbacks played ranked teams in conference like Alabama #1, Auburn #7, South Carolina #18, MS State #22, LSU #5 (ranking at the time). Also don't forget about out of conference Texas A&M who are now ranked 18th. The SEC west division is a MONSTER this year. Every team but Ole Miss is top 25. There are not too many schedules any tougher than this. Unless you play in the SEC every week, I'm sorry, you just don't understand.

That being said I really don't like the BCS either. Until a playoff system of some sort is established there is no good way to settle this argument!

GO HOGS!

My point exactly, Alabama shouldn't have been number 1 (they are good, but in reality they are a 3 loss team), South Carolina shouldn't have been ranked, MSU shouldn't have been ranked, and LSU shouldn't be top 10. They got ranked higher than they should have just by being in the SEC. They're not that tough, I think TCU could have ran that same schedule with 1 loss. MSU is not a perennial powerhouse, neither is SC. There are a few good teams, and even they get credit when they suck, such as Florida, UT, Georgia, and so on.
