eye bags
Hey guys... for a few months ending about year ago I was not getting enough sleep (like 5 hours a night) due to lots of work at the time. Now I am getting better sleep like 8 hours a night. How do I get rid of the dark bags under my eyes though that developed? Thanks!

Five hours isn't enough sleep? That's what I get every week night.
I'm not sure how to get rid of bag under the eyes. Might want to check out the mens equivilent of Oil Of Olay. They have all of that stuff for the metrosexuals you know. My wife wants me to use that stuff. I don't have the bags under my eyes, just starting to show a little wear (wrinkles).

There are many causes to under-eye circles. Since you are getting adequate sleep now and have been for a year or so, I'd venture to say the discoloration is from another cause. Most often its the result of allergies but can also be caused by illness, heredity, sun exposure, poor nutrition, vitamin K and/or B12 deficiency, excess alcohol consumption, too many caffeinated drinks, cigarette smoking, and lack of exercise.
You should first attempt to determine what is causing the skin to be discolored and treat the underlying condition. Make sure you are eating right and take a multi-vitamin to assure you're getting the vitamins your body requires. Reduce salt intake, salt makes your body retain water and causes puffiness. Find an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. This should reduce puffiness and discoloration, be sure to use it daily for several months or more to get the greatest benefit.
Remember the skin under your eyes is delicate and easily damaged. Try to avoid rubbing your eyes. Rubbing irritates the skin and can break the tiny blood vesicles underneath, causing both puffiness and discoloration.
