Eh, to some extent. When it comes to the elderly, I think it has more to do with their reaction time. It has slowed so much, that in turn, their driving habit slows down. When it comes to young drivers, it's all about the inexperience of driving and feeling bullet proof, until they experience their first accident anyway. If you change the age to 30 or whatever, then I would think that 30 year old is just about as inexperienced as any 16 year old, as far as operating a vehicle. Just my $0.02.

Seen too many of those cases since I've been on this site. Treat it right and it will do the same for you.

I don't really think it's inexperience, as much as I do immaturity for the reason that I think 17 is too young. And I agree that many older people should not be driving either for the reason that was said...reaction time.

Klitch...I don't think kids should go to war until they're 21 either. But that's a whole other story.

HAHA thanks to everyone... I woke up bright and early at 6:30 to start getting ready for this glorious day.

I got in my dads car with the guy and he told me start. I had never been this nervous before but we started down the road and made a left and done a turn about then went straight parallel parked and it was over. I guarantee you it didnt last 3 minutes but i was glad when it was over.. I have been out from 11 this morning to 4 in the afternoon cruising in my truck and i love it !!

Enjoy it Shawn. It's a great feeling. I wrote a check for my truck and worked for it. It's a great feeling to be able to drive and be proud of it

I took my driving test in my 96 F-150 and the parrallel parking space was about big enough for a Prius . I think I've only gone over 65mph 5 or 6 times since I got my license I don't even take it about 2000 RPMs.

Don't be dumb and pay attention to everyone around you.

How big's your tank? It cost me $30 to fill it up from 3/4 of a tank.
