Paying parking ticket online

I recently got 2 parking tickets. 1 for expired meter and the other for no front license plate. Its been 15 days since the citation and I have 21 days to pay the $80 fines. I have the option to pay them online which I was attempting to do. I entered in both the citation numbers and my license plate number (in the correct state and city of citation) and it says "no citation found". Could this mean that the citations never got issued? I dont wanna risk late fees and my vehicle registration being withheld. Any suggestions? If its saying no citation found, then maybe I got lucky and they were never filed? Thanks fellas for your suggestions! Merry Christmas!!

There should be a phone number on them. I'd call and find out since there could be a problem with the online payment system.

Also, normally parking tickets do not get payed to the state DMV, but to the municipality in which they were written. So if you tried the DMV, they would not know about the tickets until they were not payed, in which case vehicle registration would not be renewable until they were payed.

Ill call them tomorrow. The payment is not through the dmv. Its through a payment website that was on the ticket.
