I was in grade 10 when those things were popular.
I remember being at school in the smoking area outside, and all the 'special needs" kids who went to class in the basement (they kept them separate from the rest of us kids), they would come and hang out at the smoking section during recess...funny thing is, most of those kids could do the cube in under 2 minutes, and all us 'smart' kids just watched them in awe.

They couldnt do anything else let alone tie their own shoes but they could do that rubiks cube in a heartbeat.

I love the cracker barrol.
Sometimes we drive to Watertown just to eat there and then fill up on y'all cheap gas.

Then there's that little store full of all sorts of delicious goodies and snacks, Mmm, I think we need to go back real soon, those dumplings are calling for me, they are saying "Habibi, come back to cracker-*** barrol and order 2 bowls of dumplings, and take a large order to take back home with you."

It's settled, I'm going this week-end, they miss me at the border
