Question Where can I go snowmobiling???

Hi everyone, as most of you know, if I live in south Florida where it's always hot. I am trying to find a place to go and see some snow. Last year my gf and I went to Gatlinburg, TN and had a blast renting a great log cabin. This coming January I was thinking about going to Mountain City, TN since it's a little farther north, not too much. But this year the gf wants to go snowmobiling...the only thing is I would still want to drive my truck to play a lil bit and get some good photos in the snow. She has a brand new Ford Edge but I don't think that's gonna cut it driving in snow covered mountains. So my question is....does anyone know of a place where we can drive to from sw florida and go snowmobiling? I don't know where the closest place would be. North or West? I know there are ski resorts in TN and NC but I don't think they get enough snow for snowmobiles like they do out in Utah or Colorado. Any ideas??? Help please. Thanks.

Come to western NYstate just south of Buffalo, plenty of ski resorts and major snowmobiling with 1000,'s of miles of trails to ride and party...

I go out to Deep Creek Lake in McHenry, MD for my winter fun. It's a hike from SW Florida, but probably one of the closest places that can guarantee snow. I'd do a week trip if you plan on driving up. It's one of my favorite vacation spots any time of the year really.
