2. Even with a 13 percent tax, there isnt much differance buying stuff here to buying stuff in Soo Michigan. The sales tax differs from province to province too
3. We are allowed to have firearms, not to be carried around the local grocery store. I dont have a firearm because I have no need for one. If I thought I was in a position that I needed one for my family's protection.... Id just move
4. I personally like having all four seasons, more toys to play on
And Im sorry you were stereotyped at customs, you dont think US customs has never done that to me?
6 years ago, I went across to Sault Michigan to buy a motocross bike from someone I rode with. I went through with my mothers 3/4 Dodge diesel (i was swapping the motor in my truck) They held me and my friend for 3 hours and 15 mins because we both have tattoos and i had 4000 in cash on me for the bike with previous receipts of payment on the bike, they thought we were going to deal drugs.
I have plenty more stories of my adventures through US customs if you would like to hear

Nah, seriously, I love my right for firearms, I do. I also understand that you have a much lower violent crime rate than the US, so there is less need for you to carry to protect yourselves. I will carry as long as I am physically and legally able, because I took an oath to defend my country, it's constitution and my fellow countrymen from ALL enemies, foreign and domestic, so I carry one. I do cringe when I see some people recklessly throwing around their "right to bear arms" and whipping out their pistol for any reason whatsoever. They keep that up, and we'll lose the right to bear arms. No problems with Canada from me, but like James Brown, I'm very glad to be living in America!
